Oh goodness, about ten years ago, my daughter and I lived in an apartment above a Greek-American restaurant. When the chef retired and the restaurant was closing down, he called my daughter and I inside. He offered us dishes and any food that we could use. We got several packs of lavash bread, and big drums of olive oil.
I began my love affair with lavash bread that very day.
