I am naturally skeptical of everything. If I look to the past as reference it tells me I am not getting better. But I don't live strictly by the patterns of the past, things change. I have felt like I'm getting better before and turned out I wasn't. This time is different because of how long I am doing good for, but I can never get the assumption that disaster is always around the corner.

Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony - Mahatma Gandhi
Work on yourself. You are worth investing in. Everybody is. Learn. Read. Struggle against this world and make the world around you better. The only happiness you can receive in life without doubt is the happiness you make for yourself. If you go around being miserable. You will be miserable. It's only a perception thing.

I think that metaphorically describes life on the spectrum quite well!
In the end, the only meaningful thing you can do in this world is make yourself happy.
