AutHaven 2015

WHEN: Friday, March 20, 2015 (around noon) until Tuesday, March 24, 2015 (around noon)

WHERE: We'll be renting out the lodge (and have access to other areas) of Mountain Air Ranch in Indian Hills Colorado (near Denver). M.A.R. is a nudist resort, but the odds of seeing anyone naked is small. It is about 25 miles west of Denver on 9006 South Mica Mine Gulch Road.

WHO: Autistic people, neuro-cousins, and their support people. (If in doubt, contact the organizers.)

COST: $150 per person! Anyone who wants to can donate more to help out those who cannot afford the fee. That will include lodging in shared rooms, meals, workshops, speakers, and more. One way we are keeping costs down is by doing all cooking, cleaning, etc, ourselves. We are asking each person able to, to donate an hour or more per day helping us with these things. Also, if you are unable to pay the full fee we would still love for you to come.

WHAT WILL WE DO? Detailed schedule forthcoming (currently in planning). The general kinds of activities are: listening to prepared presentations, cooking and meals, active things like hikes (beautiful trails!) and ping pong, structured and informal conversation, games, toasting marshmallows on the fire, relaxing in the hot tub, and time to yourself as needed.

Anyone wishing to share their skills, talents, and special interests are beyond welcome. If you have something (no curebies) you wish to lead a discussion about, just e-mail Vicki and we'll put you on the schedule.
