Feeling sorry for myself

Yet another pointless rule.
Oh pointless rules!like you couldn't apply for council (like the projects,welfare housing )bungalow( a detached single storey home )if you owned a home or were paying a mortgage then my local council decided in its lunacy on the very day the builders arrived to demolish half of the ground floor ,to allow! an application !only made us wait 2 months! there are more pointless rules the British invented pointless rules

The U.S. system has it's roots in British bureaucracy ;)
 
Yet another pointless rule.
Well... not so pointless. If you look at the demographics of most industrialized countries you'll see a lot fewer 20-30-year-olds than 40-50-year-olds. Even fewer 10-20-year-olds. Fewer people paying taxes means you need to push the age for retirement benefits forward or the system goes bankrupt.

This old fart is living on a third of what I was making when I was working. Fixed income in a time of inflation sucks but it is better than seeing the system collapse.
 
Doctors can't do anything for a pinched nerve but exercises and medication I won't take. I do exercises though.
I have had three vertebrae fused (C5-C7) due to stenosis, and it helped me a lot. You need to have good insurance though, because it is expensive.
