It sounds pretty exhausting, @Oz67. You seem to have a strong awareness of what is happening and the way that bipolar cycles come and go. This is great insight, but also very tough, knowing that the ups are not sustainable and the downs will come again.
I think if you keep working with a therapist and fine tuning your meds with a psychiatrist, you may be able to gain more stability over time. With the right support, many people can see less dramatic symptoms as they age.
