Hello I feel confused

Absolutely true. Diabetes and obesity are great examples of how the things we consume have changed our physical bodies and affected our children before birth.

I actually believe that the rise in autism rates is connected to Monsanto and the obscene quantities of pesticides and herbicides that are used on corn and soy crops in the last 50 years. Combine that with all of the processed convenience food we consume (all containing corn and soy extracts). Prior to 1970, the chemicals that killed weeds and pests would also kill the corn and soy. Also, the only real processed parts of our diets would have been something like ketchup or cheese.

It’s just a theory, but there’s an undeniable correlation between the quantities of those chemicals being sold and the rise in ASD rates.
Agree. Interestingly enough there are some studies/opinions that over-consumption of soy interferes with thyroid hormones. And they stick soy in everything these days. And then the links between hypothyroidism and autism. I have had thyroid issues much of my adult life, and in 2018 (after years of thyroid issues and a previous diagnosis of Hashimoto's) I picked up a virus which totally killed my thyroid. Been on thyroxine ever since. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Check this out. A direct like between pesticides and Autism

I think your comment could be misinterpreted. It seems a bit strong to me. In my view this study does not show a direct link between pesticides and autism. It shows some interesting evidence that exposing pregnant mice to one particular pesticide produces an increase in "ASD-like behavioural abnormalities" in male offspring.

It also says that it would be very unlikely that a human could ever be exposed to such high levels as were used in the experiment.

Of course I could have explained further, and any comment is open to interpretation. But what’s really important about the experiment is that it’s the first scientific cause/effect link to the likely beginning of Autism in a living being. In utero vs something like vaccines.

But for the record….. I have believed for years that pesticides and herbicides (i.e. Monsanto) are the culprit for the escalating rates of ASD worldwide. It doesn’t make me right, but eventually someone will guess the real cause.

It’s an interesting conversation, but ultimately it’s sort of useless. I can’t be ‘cured’. My son can’t be ‘cured’. My wife is still stuck in some new version of hell because of us. The internet is sometimes just a place to share bad ideas…. unless it’s a good idea. Right?

Yup, as @DaisyRose says, we will be running everything, and NT may actually be a minority, with ND as the majority, meaning instead of break this glass box to pull the emergency switch, it will say break the glass to get the stim toy, and scissors to cut those darn clothing tags that irritate your skin. And of course, there will always be ear buds for those really bad days.
