Looking for high class mocktail ideas.

I know about virgin margaritas, and I have made gourmet virgin Pina Coladas in the past.

What is your favorite mocktail?

And no, virgin rum and Coke does not count.

I actually worked at nightclubs for a while (which I have mentioned on here before) and I thought about getting a bartending license (but didn’t pursue it because I preferred DJing and working with audio, lighting and stage design.)

I make mocktails all the time. I make virgin margaritas and Pina Coladas like you mentioned, but I love coming up with my own recipes more.

A mocktail I’ve made that I would definitely recommend is lemonade (or pink lemonade or limeade works too) with strawberry or raspberry syrup, Sprite, and mixed fruit in a blender. Served with ice.
I haven’t come up with a name for it and I’m sure it’s been done before at a bar or a club, but it’s my favorite.

Here are some of my mixers (none of them have any alcohol)

The pumpkin one is for a Halloween themed mocktail I make and it’s not something you would really want to drink with soda lol

I’ve been buying Three Spirit botanical elixirs every now and then, for if I have a social event and want to make a mocktail. I really enjoy Three Spirit Livener with ginger beer and a splash of lime juice.

When it comes to drink, that is a matter of taste and the behavior of the drinkers. People with good taste and good etiquette will be able to have fun even with low-class drinks like creek water or Coke or tea in a mason jar on the front porch. And, unlike celebrities, they will always be living at higher class than Dom Perignon & assaulting an actress.

The 1887 White House Cook Book did not have Jagerbombs as Jagermeister had not been invented yet but it did have a way to carbonate lemonade by tipping a teaspoon of carbonate of soda into the glass and stirring right before it's served. Lemonade is basic stuff but if you used a fresh lemon or lime, used decent-quality sugar, and fresh or mineral water--Why not? You're literally carbonating it right there in your glass on the table, and since it does not use fermentation like some of the other recipes, you have zero alcohol intake whatsoever. Use a tall tumbler or something I guess. Won't cost you a lot of money either & I know part of the Metalhead agenda lately is more money.

I have a few drink receipts around here which is funny because I don't have booze to mix them with. They came out of old cookbooks & stuff which appeared because I hoard books & apparently everything else.

So no Bloody with the Mary? :D

Yeah. These drinks are super healthy, and may contribute to your 5 a day portions of fruit and vegetables. Assuming you're in the UK and know about the recommended guidelines.

I love V-8 juice which supposedly provides the equivalent of one daily portion of vegetables and fruit. I prefer it to orange juice for breakfast. Not sure if V-8 is available in the UK.
