I never use sleep mode. I only tried it a few times back when we all had WinXP and it was a toss of the coin as to wether it would wake back up properly or just crash. But can't you just turn that off, if it bothers you?

These days modern systems have much better power control which makes sleep mode fairly pointless. My screen swithches off if I'm away for 10 minutes and that's the only "power saving" feature I use. I quite often leave my computer running for days at a time but when I shut it down it's properly shut down.
Cute little guy This is a pretty good thread! There's some techy stuff and cute pictures of mice! What's not to like?
A mouse is a mouse. It works.I want to get this mouse, but I am not sure if it would work.
Yeah, I have a feeling of the same experience, it is especially annoying that it does it when the laptop is closed - like I close the laptop, it goes into sleep, then I move on the sofa and it powers up again (while closed) - Gave up, and always does a full power-down now...It's not mean to wake up the pc because I walked in the same room as the PC does this not happen to anyone else
