Yeah, I feel the same with the downtrodden part. Do my best to fit in, but it's a struggle and it all adds to exhaustion.

Welcome aboard. The classic forum layout is a lot friendlier than Reddit or algorithm-driven social media.
 
Reddit is a bit too harshly opinionated and argumentative, in my opinion, but definitely has its uses.
