Post something Weird or Random

Changed my life in a movie theater hearing those words for the first time in the early 70s. ;)

Though after all these years I'm still searching for that elusive Hungarian phrasebook. Though I can't say I have any reason to wander into a tobacconist's shop either.

Oh the humanity! :p
Yes yes yes, but is your hovercraft full of eel's? That's what's important to know!

="M&Ms at Disney Springs. A huge retail store selling nothing but M&Ms and related retail junk."
When I clicked Reply I got to see your spoiler, my guess was wrong. I could see it's some sort of pellets in tubes but couldn't work out what they'd be for. Going by the colours I was going to suggest paint tinting dyes.

Your spoiler had a formatting error.

Anyone want to guess what these are? (I tried to put in a spoiler but it didn’t work for me.)

These are huge tubes, 10 feet tall or more, filled with M&Ms dyed every color of the rainbow. This is just a small section. I couldn’t get back far enough to capture the whole selection.

There is what is effectively a giant multi-acre shopping mall called Disney Springs. There’s no entrance fee and parking is free. But oh, do they get you to buy things. This is America’s worst example of totally needless items. I did not see one useful item, except perhaps sunglasses and hats.

You might wonder why I was in this abhorrent place, with crowds of people and loud canned music spouting from every store.

Well, it is the favorite place of my foster daughter. I raised her in the swamps. Where did I go wrong?

There’s no entrance fee ...
Hang about a second, are you saying some American shopping mall's charge an entrance fee just to be allowed to shop there? 😵
I'm gobsmacked (though not surprised really! 😉). I know financial segregation has always been an implicit element, but usually a little more covert.

I'm also confused with this :D

They don't charge. The mall is its own entity, not selling anything. The mall space may open before any stores do, because it's common for people to walk malls for exercise, before they get too many shoppers.
