What song are you listening to right now?

Not a *country fan. Of course, there are always exceptions to rules. I love Patsy.

(and imo, this is _blues_, but others see it as country)

Patsy Cline - Walking After Midnight

*mainstream that is
-edit- auh, that voice *bliss*

Crazy is such a classic. Deserves its place. :) The other one I had forgotten, but I'm going to refresh my memory.

That woman knew heartache. Oh, I'd hug her if I could. I just hear her.

Patsy Cline - Sweet Dreams of You

*edit- also, I'd link things, but this is what I see
And I just can't wrap my head around persnickety things at the moment

*edit redux- my god the goosebumps, the shivers

Some country music is quite good if you can get past the redneck image of it

Ичих нүүр (HAYA) - Live performance of Grassland in Wilderness
From this album - Wolf Totem Grooveshark - Free Music Streaming, Online Music

Khöömii (Tuvan throat singing, or 'overtone singing'), they are Mongolian fusion

*so breathtakingly beautiful* *oh, those strings... that percussion... heart be still now*

*closes her eyes and just moves along*

Title track of 'Wolf Totem'. Very much different, more upbeat, more 'western'. Electric guitars and drum kit.

That percussion, oooer. So good. Tribal drums starting 3:12.
