What song are you listening to right now?

I'm really spamming this thread today lol. This is a really nice "Slap House" song I discovered a few years ago.
I'm really starting to consider posting a video of myself live mixing on here. I don't like being on video but this is one of my special interests/skills that I surprisingly haven't gone into a lot of detail about on here. I should probably make some drum videos too.

Yoko Ono - Kiss Kiss Kiss

This song....
It's supposed to be erotic... But I just find it funny.
I like the hard hitting drums, fast paced funky beat though.
Still not enough to make me a fan..

Yoko Ono - Give Me Something
I always skipped Yokos tracks.
So let me get this straight....Yoko, you want something warm, and soft, not warm and hard, not cold and hard, but warm and soft. hmnn.
I have no idea what she talkin about.
*Annoyed John Lennon voice* "wot u bloody on about ya daft..."

More Yoko...more unexplored....areas in music, she's not afraid to push into..so avant garde
Don't ever tell a woman to open her box....they hate that..
I can say from personal experience...
That's not something they wanna hear, not a favorable reaction
Because...You know..
If they are gifted a present, they'll unwrap the box on their own time.

Oh.. the song de-yokified. Cool.

Not that Yoko does such a bad job. Or she sucks. But she's very....unconventional. The way she makes noises, her wacky adlibs, it's growing on me though.
....
I'm wondering what the original lyrics were....now,
When she was writing the song....my imagination is filling it in.
YOkO: "my ...are hard, your ...is hard..."
My runaway imagination....

The Posies - I'm Looking Through You
Story goes, Paul was shocked to the core, one evening, as he came to Abbey Road, and saw, sweet Lady Jane, Giving a Lennon a bj.
It messed his head up, as you can well imagine, because Paul thought
John would never cheat on him like that.
It's all true.
Dirty secrets of the Beatles, it has to be told.
Absolutely devastating, to witness such a thing, but a great song was born.
From such a heartwrenhing and sordid incident.
A great song from Paul McCartney. One of my favourites.

Chuck Berry & John Lennon (1972)
A rare chance for John to jam with one of his musical idols. And of course Yoko had to ruin it.

Some Interesting comments:

Top 3 legends in this performance:

1. The sound guy
2. Chuck Berry
3. John Lennon

:grinning:

She has the voice of an angel
...getting its wings torn off.
:openmouth:

Supposedly, afterwards, Chuck tore into John backstage: "Why the f#$k don't you CONTROL your woman??"
:hushed:
Oh Yoko!

I need Doors melded with beatles...Give me Beatoors, Doortles. It's what I want. That's what I want.

In some parallel universe Paul Mcartney took over the JM role. The Wing Doors.

lol wtf...we have a lot of tribute bands, where I live. But all singular acts. I dont' know what the hell this is.
I take it back, These hybrid things are just a mess. Keep it pure.
