What would you do if you won the lottery?

I would offer a series of prizes for small gardening robots, The current system of petrochemical poison agriculture needs to be replaced by an organic permaculture.

No right or wrong answers here; this is all your choice.

Imagine that you've won your respective lottery and were the only winner (we'll say the jackpot was 5,000,000 in your respective currency).

What would you do with your winnings?
Go into hiding from my wife's relatives who would all have outstretched hands.

I would like to do something to support literacy for children. I would also like to support programs that provide meals at school for kids who aren't getting them at home.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Buy a home, throw a party for the regulars here, and set the rest ($3M?) aside in investments which should allow, even conservatively, for an annual $100k pre-tax income which would easily allow me to retire, see the world, and make some contributions to charities.

I wouldn't tell anyone. Invest some, give some to family, donate some to charity anonymously, travel more and do odd things like: make someone's day. Put a 50 euro note on the side of the road and wait hidden for someone to pass and pick it up.
