A Nitty Gritty View of a Climate Change Event Coming To Us Soon

I figure this climate change effect is going to cause terrorism and fighting that will make what we have seen so far, pale into insignificance. This has to do with a temperature measurement involving the maximum of what the human body can tolerate. The ordinary language term for it is, "wet bulb temperatures".

When humidity is high, the human body is not able to endure temperatures that we can take with less humidity. This is because the main way our bodies cool off os through sweating and tehnhaving some cooling happen as the sweat evaporates. When there is more humidity, sweat does not evaporate very fast. This means less cooling when we sweat. At some point the sweating become so ineffective that we do not cool off enough to stay alive.

Much of the human beings in the Middle East suffer periods of high humidity along with high heat. This high humidity along with high heat are increasing due to climate change. Scientists have begun to predict when these wet bulb temperatures will reach a point where they will start killing human beings who can not stay in air conditioning until the temperatures drop. There is queite a bit of disagreement about exactly when these fatal wet bulb temperatures will begin. Some predictions say it may happen as soon as three years from now. Others cover a range up to about 2030 with some that give us as long as around 2050.

However optimistic you choose to be about the beginning of these fatal wet bulb temperatures, they are coming and are not that far away.

Why does this matter to you?

Ever heard of something about a 911 World Trade Center Bombing?

People may get pretty ferocious about fighting for religious beliefs, but I think they will get more ferocious when they know they and their loved ones will die unless they move away from home. A lot of people will be involved in this wet bulb situation. Some have been peaceful and passive up to this point. I don't think we can expect this situation to continue. We will probably have a lot more wars and terrorism than we have had up to this point.

If you believe in Gd, or some equivalent, you might need to do some thinking about whether your version of a Supreme Being will approve of you sitting on your hands and letting this happen. If you do not exactly know if there is a Supreme Being, it is more of a if there is one, how they might feel about it all. If you don't believe in Gd, you have probably worked out some system of ethics that includes some version of respect for human rights and human life. Letting millions die because of a rise in wet bulb temps while you do nothing, probably does not work out ethically.

Last of all, if you do not believe in some version of Gd, and have no ethical system for human rights or for human life, you might want to protect your own posterior before those wet bulb temperatures kick in.

Lest you decide that I am just trying to make you feel bad for some unknown reason, I will give you some links about wet bulb temperatures reaching heights fatal to human beings. Besides, the last thing I want to do is present you with a very upsetting insoluble problem. The posts I have made prior to this one are possible solutions to some of the problems we face due to climate change. If you feel bad about the coming bad effects of climate change, please look again at my previous posts about good ways to live that will be easier on us and our Earth that we live upon. My ideas are not the only possibilities for ways to reduce and stop climate change. If you don't like my ideas you can find or make others.

I will go bring you back links about wet bulb temperatures now.

This one is the first one i found right now. I am a little doubtful about it because it has such an optimistic date for reaching Wet Bulb Temperatures, or WBT that will be fatal to healthy people. He is also not a scientist, but it is kind of good to see what an ordinary person from the area has to say.

Extreme heatwaves could push Gulf climate beyond human endurance, study shows

Here is another site that has a better explanatin of what is happening: Heat and Humidity Combine to Threaten the Futures of Millions

https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/killer-heat-grows-hotter-around-the-world/. This one is especially good because it shows how wet bulb temps are already killing people now and mentions that if we vurn up all of the fossil fuels the whole planet will become uninhabitable. It is stupid and unnecessary to let things get that bad. We need to make our leaders of every country in the world agree to do whatever is necessary to stop making climate change worse. We need that to happen very soon.

Is Climate Change Making Temperatures Too Hot for High School Football?. This one is about how warmer wet bulb temps are already affecting High School football in Georgia. I like it because it is very matter-of-fact about it and it makes it clear about some of what we are dealing with.

This link explains the mechanisms of climate change in detail. Some of the terminology may not be familiar to you. Do not let this stop you from finishing the article if you want to. You can look up any strange words on google or online dictionary. This article is harder to make your way through and understand than the other links and is not really for everyone. You don't need to understand it to get the general ideas about climate change.

There are a lot more places on the internet to look at if you want to learn more about climate change.

I plan to tell you more about other effects of climate change besides heat and wet bulb temperatures.
