Special Interest Zombie Laser-Land

I am having a terrific case of Happy Art; I gave up perfection and stopped rating my craftsmanship. Instead I thought about writing with as few words as possible, pouring all the ideas into it, then paring them down, and leaving a splendid array of profligate puns and dead-ends. I love this project.

This project takes me out of work mode and into Special Interest Zombie LaserLand: focus is intense, so much so that I even forgive myself an untidy office and a disorganized table. It doesn't matter. Even being off meds doesn't matter. I am consumed.

I know I will grieve when it's done. But it's been sooooo nice being focused on something that wasn't despair, wasn't fear, wasn't anxiety. I have had nothing else in my brain for hours, and I feel clean inside. I feel like these:

I was going to put them in the media folder, but they flew here instead. So that's all right, then.

Sometimes messes are okay 'cuz they've got lots to offer. Sometimes they act like high tide and push the flotsam and jetsam around?
