I can’t even remember anything……I need way more sleep than I am getting or maybe just to be less anxious which would use less of my energy, so I would need less sleep in the first place. Anyways now I remember.
Our day started early with going into Queenstown to beat the traffic and the people so we could get a car park which worked well, so we arrived about 8.15 and then headed off to the Gondolas which were really cool well actually they weren’t they were rather scary but once we got to the top with was worth it, we could see the whole of Queenstown and got some really cool pictures, we looked around the top, watched some people do the luge which really sucks compared to the one in Rotorua which is near where we live so we were all glad we didn’t do it then we went back down the gondola and headed to the waterfront for morning tea, everyone had morning tea but me because we went to a place that didn’t have anything that I was willing to eat so I ended p pretty hungry by lunch time. After that we walked around the gardens on a little track that went around what would be a peninsula if one wasn’t at a lake, so we got to see the whole of Queenstown from the bottom and look at the cool mountains, there is many in Queenstown. Then we went along the city waterfront to see an old boat come in which was cool until there was too many people and too much noise and well sensory overload. This is basically where the day started to go downhill because I don’t have a space to go and calm down really I just have to pretend I’m fine which doesn’t actually make me fine it just means that I continue to push and make things worse like how I went into the supermarket right after this started which is a bit much usually but you know these things are. It just could have been a lot better.
We then drove, I sat next to mum in the back and listened to music to try and help calm down. We drove, and my anxiety got worse and I pinched again which made me feel more anxious and rather guilty. Um we made it to Cromwell and saw their giant fruit sculpture? Then we went down to their historic settlement which was so cool, I enjoyed looking around, we did that for about an hour and then got back on the road and we ended up in Wanaka, well that was the plan actually it was the destination for the night.
So, we stayed here and I just felt kinda crappy so I had a shower and cried a lot because showers are by far the best place to cry even if they are public bathroom showers. Then I went to bed and I imagine cried again. Things could have gone better but it’s okay what doesn’t one expect you just gotta deal with whatever is happening and keep going.
