I have this 'not good' tendency to not record or write much about good stuffs that's happening. Maybe that's why you would find my blog to be kinda negative most of the time.
Anyway. So, my aspie husband passed the preliminary interview! Hurray!
Maybe he's got lucky - because I heard they choose n number of people to go to the next round, and the people being interviewed in the preliminary were less or equal to n number.. But! He also did a good job, since if he was doing bad, he would not even pass the preliminary round. I'm so happy, he looks happier than previously too, and Thank God for this good event.
Most importantly, his view on taking interviews has changed for the better. He's more open to taking interview now - previously he won't apply and won't go, since it's not really the job he wanted. Now, he seems to be more open to also join lunches and conversation in small groups (usually three or less). He looks like he's satisfied with the conversations with those people too - they can discuss about their research interests together, surprisingly. Before, he always complained that nobody can discuss with him about his research - well that's still true, but Thank God they could discuss on something that perked his interest too, even mildly. Maybe the passion of the guy surrounding him affected him somehow.
