I feel so old...

Last night David and I went to the Tap 'n' Tin... Neither of us fancied a night in and the Beacon Court Tavern had nothing on.

The night started out pretty quietly, David perusing the various woman (particularly the more curvaceous/voluptuous ones) and myself perusing one or two guys (one of whom I pointed out, turned out to be straight. Damn).

After a couple of pints of Strongbow, we hit the Metal Cage. Absolutely fantastic time - all the tunes were from the 2000-2002 era, quite iconic tunes. So David and I went ballistic to the likes of SOAD, Manson, RATM, etc.

Unfortunately my neck decided to give out, followed by my back and left knee (the last two often play up), so I sat down. After a couple more songs David and I went outside to lay on the benches and just chat about stuff, reminiscing on various things, such as when we were first online, xkcd, etc. General Geek Talk!

We both agreed we're getting old. A few years back, I could handle occasional clubbing like that with friends, without problem.

Where the hell has my youth gone? I know I'm not the average person... But doesn't mean I want to miss out on certain things!

It's made me wonder if it's about time for me to settle down, put my head down and get on with Uni!

It's alright. As long as you lived your life to the fullest, it's ok. Clubbing is and will always be fun and cool, no matter the age. ;D

Aye, but seems it's somewhat painful now... I shouldn't be falling apart like this when I'm not even twenty-five yet!

That being said, settling down would be nice, but it's unlikely I'll find a partner anytime soon due to my eclectic and eccentric nature - coupled with the strict routines, etc I have... My last (and only so far) partner couldn't cope with it :/ Oh and my obsession with Doctor Who and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea! That usual makes people run haha!

Haha... I guess true partners will stand your obsessions. Who knows, you could be seen as more stable than others? Haha

Once partners see through your 'quirkiness' for a certain of attractiveness that comes with being dedicated to the things you love, they will love your stability, I am sure :D

Very few people I know, esp. males, are really committed to do what they love to do wholeheartedly. Haha

Possibly, time will tell! :P
