Emotional Breakdowns

I'm an Aspie and I emotional break downs anywhere from once a month to once a week. Is this normal? How often do you get them if so? What triggers them for you personally? Am I the only one who gets these? How do you cool down and re-gain composure? How do you break down the 'wall' after overstimulation? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
