I am happy with a distinction I just received in the subject on Mediaeval Europe. Well, who wouldn't be? Perhaps a perfectionist who was hanging out for a high distinction. Certainly that would be nice but it didn't happen. The lecturer not only knew his stuff but he seemed to be a hardarse when it came to marks. That's a good thing. I don't want soft marking - I want to earn my degree. I would also like to get into the thesis component although here my problem what that is umpteen ideas and I can't narrow them down. However, that can only come in 2026 at the very least. Right now, it is a matter of doing well in the coursework. My next subject is called Massacres and Genocide. Not exactly cheery stuff but we are talking about history not birthday parties or ferris wheels.
