Just an update

So I've been showing my new scars/mostly healed cuts at work on my upper arms for a few days now. Texas weather did its thing and it was randomly gonna be in the 70/80's (fahrenheit) for a few days so I decided to take a chance. As I suspected, no one's said a thing about them although at least to me they're fairly obvious. I think its some combination of politeness and awkwardness though. Either they're polite enough not to ask or they noticed but just don't know what to say. I also can't decide if they're genuinely being a bit nicer to me or if I'm just reading into it cause I'm paying more attention to them out of fear someone will have a negative reaction to them.

I was like that when the guy I was taking over for on the register asked if I was okay. No one ever notices when I just lay my head down on the random 'wall' on one part of the back of the register cause I'm too tired and depressed at the moment to care, but the guy I was taking over for did. I feel bad I cant remember his name, I wanna call him Lukas but I know that isn't his name. So he'll remain nameless. But anyways he seemed concerned, cause he kept asking about me even after I just shrugged cause I wasn't sure what to say. I appreciated the concern I just didn't know what to say cause surely the true answer was too exhaustive and not socially appropriate given that when he asked it, he was picking up all of his returns to put them away and go on break, meaning I was seconds away from being responsible for what was a moment ago his line of customers.

Today will be typical and not that interesting. I mean I need to buy more bandages so it'll be remotely interesting to see if anybody notices but I doubt they will. Couldn't get to sleep till late last night so today I'm pretty tired.

Co-worker guy sounds nice. c:

It's probably true that people will not ask too many questions about the scars even if they notice, out of fear, politeness, awkwardness etc. Not neccessarily because they don't care.
