Do you set a personal target for yourself?
While some (the top three people on the list especially) choose to challenge a certain level of artistic mastery, some choose to challenge a perceived unbreakable record (the four-minute mile). Some, though, want to win others.
The first, Tracy Huang, chooses to change her singing style, from the traditional style of singing to the usual 1940-50's singing style in the 1970's, to urban styles of music in the 1990's that is still edgy.

The second, Dennis Chew, evolved from a radio DJ to a household icon, famous for acting in 2 movies - cross-dressing as a housewife Auntie Lucy. Then, he went on to appear as a host of other characters such as Confucius and Taiwanese child actor Xiao Xiao Bin.
The third, Michelle Chong, is even more artistically advanced than Chew - Chong not just impersonates, she created three different TV characters - Adrianna Wow, the American-accented newscaster, Leticia, a Filipino maid/domestic helper and Barberella, an Asian girl who has fetishes on solely Caucasian men. She is the Sacha Baron Cohen of Singapore - the funny person who can impersonate as multiple characters. But more importantly, she inspires more than make people laugh.
Oh, Chong can also do other impersonations:

And she has a new movie:

At least sharing about Singapore's stars chases my blues away. Sometimes I am frustrated because I feel that I can't bring unique things to the Aspies Central site, but well, here am I.
... ... ...
Then there is the LSU win against Ole Miss, Huang sang this in 1980's and I love it

And now, I am really most impressed with Roger Bannister.
While others think that the four-minute mile barrier, he smashed it.
He executed his plan to break the barrier through determination, effort and the ability to work with his pacer and expertise on the body's anatomy. If not, how is it possible for an athlete with low mileage training like him, busy with medical studies (Bannister was a medical student when he broke the mile record) and so on, to run so fast?
I wished more can be like him. When can humanity have something that will give hope, in the age of inaction and despair?
Like, the thing on top on my mind, we can manage high taxes, budget balances or surpluses, social welfare and strong continued long-run capital investments.
So even when I fail, I know with support and an open mind, anything is possible.
