So just to clarify, I was on a bike ride, not a walk, but I did give up on one hill, and walked the bike up, so....
First say hi to my bicycle, it's an old sturdy one, I got it ~16-17 years ago with a child seat attached so I could use it for taking the kid to kindergarten, it's not fast or fancy, it doesn't need to be, I tried to make it more pretty by adding a ladybug (the mandatory bell all bicycles must have here), leaves and flowers (made of plastic so it stays green year round).
So sometimes I take my bike out to one of the places where I have my walks, but sometimes I just ride the bike - there used to be railway station where in the village where I live, but they stopped using the railway line many years ago, and it was converted into a bike path, meaning, it mostly only have very gentle inclines as the trains needed to be able to go up, but some places they couldn't make the bike path follow the only track as people had build houses moved roads etc. so it has some places where there are not only gentle hills and big turns. but for most parts it's something like this:
Enough of the history, let me share some of the pictures of spring that I encountered today, these flowers grow in clearing is forests, they appear to consider the sides of the path for a clearing
I also saw a fox cross the path, but it was too fast to get on a picture...
Today I drove south to a city where there is a bridge over a fjord, well what we here in Denmark call a fjord
just as I came to the bridge it was open to let this ship pass (I would have loved to see it using its sails):
After seeing the ship, I turned around and headed back home, it was a 4 hour bike ride, so my legs are a bit tired now
Oh, I shouldn't forget the scrunchie story, so at one point in the ride, I noticed I could see my ponytail go out to the side from the wind, I usually have it tied up in a knot held by a scrunchie, but a quick touch to the back of my head made it clear I had dropped it (it was one I had made by crochet), bummer, but I didn't know how long ago it was, so agreed with my self that I would look for it when driving back, thinking I would never see it again - but then a bit later I stopped to take photos, turned around and there it was, resting gently at the back of my bike, it must have slid down gently to land so perfectly
