Tried to establish if I will be any better of financially if I start the new job this Monday- still not 100% sure but I may be entitled to apply for Tax Credits if I don't suddenly come into a load of dosh. Tried to get in touch with the Recruiter- lets call her Bee just in case she doesn't what to appear on my Blog. Bee was responsible for initial One-to-One interview however so far the position is a bit mysterious- not much of a paper trail- mainly all done by e-mail so far. However suits me -maybe saved a part of a tree/ cost to the company using snail mail. However I find it strange that Recruitment Officer Bee so far has no second name. Also no contact number on last email- however when Bee phoned to tell me the good news about the job I saved the number in my mobile-under NewJob.-On phoning back to clarify some details I was met with an answering machine- which I left a message on- so far no returned call. Anyway I have until Monday 9.00 am to clear up any problems.
It is so easy to become anxious and worry about details which are important to make a good impression on the first day- .
However I must try to maintain a balanced approach and not become obssessed with the new job- thinking about one thing 24/7 can't be good for me even though it is important. I must put it into pespective- worse case scenario something goes wrong.-However statistically /rationally speaking there are no foreseeable reasons for this to happen.
So best to focus on somthing else- the weather has been relatively sunny today here in NW England- not that I have been out that much. I had to sign on @ 1 pm today and show evidence of my attempts to find employment- well starting a new job Monday is good evidence- so the Job-Centre advisor was happy that I have a new start. However I don't think anyone inside building today were too happy because of the good weather outside- I have logg off now because there is less than 2min library computer time left (only allowed 2 hours)
