Unrealistic expectations

I have unrealistically high expectations of autistic people functioning in the world and with their family, society, etc.

I wish for all members to optimize their performance, regardless of their stims and mannerisms and whatever, just to do what they can do to the world.

Even my parents don't understand me, and say I am undermining familial relationships. But don't I try to involve them in several of my decisions already? I just see more things than them?

Since my idea of a World Autism Group cannot work for now, because of the limitations (which are just too bad!) of the opposing autism organizations...

Now, local forums wise, I find it a shame they can't find us because we are a secret group.

Yup. If society just chills with us, probably we don't need to have high expectations whatsoever.

Like say, for the Longhorns or Wolverines, winning a conference title every year. (Gasp)
