Hurt Me
Dog House Selector & Automotive Worship
Zombie Picnic, Goodbye
Kissy face, huggy bear

What do I see?
Basically, I see that there is a pattern in the composition of these things.

The naively sweet 'kissy face'/'huggy bear' pair are related by positivity.
They are followed by an opposite theme of gore and global destruction.
The 'Zombie Picnic' is personal; 'Goodbye' is a world wide tragedy.

Following those torment filled works the next two deal with inanimate objects.
The 'Dog House Selector' proposes absurd dwellings for canines in a
matter of fact way. 'Automotive Worship', based on cars which
are mundane objects, elevates them into deities to worship.

Following the inanimate topics is the personal suggestion to 'Hurt Me.' As usual,
the seemingly blatant sexual masochistic suggestion is for the sake of humor.
As usual, for tree that is. The sadistic acts were committed by wielding a fish.

After the exercise in depravity, naturally, "listening to Grandma" is moralistic.
Not content with mere parental discipline, the matriarch of the family
invokes images of reverence that are to be paid toward one's upbringing.

Sliding down from the moral peaks offered by Grandma's advice,
'Vegan Suicide' is a situation of despair brought on by bullying.
To lighten the situation the harmless vegetarian kills herself using
produce as implements of suicide following a debauch of eating meat.
This also serves to make the vegan's tragedy seem silly.

Continuing in the negative direction is 'Family Planning' which reminds me of
Johnathon Swift's solution to poverty & overpopulation. However, 'Family Planning'
isn't as economically beneficial. The offspring aren't sold & eaten, merely allowed
to dispose of themselves.

Another in the negative direction is 'a fairly big bang' which proposes
complete annihilation of the Earth. After that, a palate cleanser of sorts,
in the form of the bland premise that actors & actresses perform acts
upon baked goods. ['What do they usually do?']

Ending this cycle is the pair of updated versions of 'Kissy face' & 'huggy bear',
'kissy face 2.0' and 'huggy bear 2.0'. These last two reflect my wish to
attain mechanical precision.

A pattern in the creativity is evident. Negative follows positive.
Common acts of affection are couched in terms of cloying sweetness
[the titles kissy face etc] but deliver these acts with a rationed discipline.
A premise of cruelty is reduced in effect by the use of fish as implement.

In general, the appalling isn't as bad as it seems from the title and
the positive angles aren't utterly saccharine because they are tempered
with some rationality.

There is balance in the dark and light.

An overall interest in control is apparent.
All these works seem to me to involve some
aspect of control over behavior.
