Is anyone else having problems

That is pretty weird for the site to be doing that and now I should now have fixed the problem you were having with creating threads.
Some of your posts have ended up in the moderators queue for some unknown reason so I had to accept the first post that you created.
 
There is a time period (around 15 minutes) whereby if there is no activity or if you remain on the same page, the system will assume you are inactive and thus log you out. If you do get logged out, use the main login box and not the one at the top right of the page. That way, any text that you have typed up should be recovered when you log in again.
