@Warwick C LOL you obviously don't stick your fingers through the handles, you just grab the butterfly wings. I never use them though, they stay in the box so my cats don't break them. When I have a safe place to display them, they will be for viewing only.
 
@Warwick C ah ok. well this is the only set I have ever seen this way too but I love it, one of the few things my dad bought me that he actually put some thought into to make it meaningful.
