Finished demolition derby car at the auto clinic

The multi-colored paintjob took hours to mask and finish. All the writing on the car was done with a Sharpie marker and highlighted with a small touchup spray gun.

Outside of the building sits my '66 Chevy Caprice streetmachine in full battle dress.
Likin' the 'BADYEAR' tyres, (I'm assuming it's a play on words, seeing as though there is a brand called GoodYear).

Vinca You got it! I used to use the online handle of Mr. Badwrench that was a play on General Motors Mr.Goodwrench too :D

Here are two more pix of the same car. The rear mag wheels were plain old steel wheels painted silver, then blacked out with a spray can to simulate expensive alloy wheels. I actually did a little body work on this pig as evidenced by the "Rust Never Sleeps!" tag above the rear wheel arch repair. The hood had to have two eight inch square holes for putting out any fires underneath it,so artistic license allowed me to make NACA jet intake scoops out of what was usually a butcher job with a hatchet :D

I have been searching for a pic of this hooptie all balled up...it got creamed real bad :D

It had short looped transmission cooler lines right beside the case to eliminate transmission failure from a front hit and the radiator placed way back to the engine to keep it cool and moving in the case of a "collision event"

The front wheels were off an older Chevy Monte Carlo that were chosen for the thick coating of polyurethane that protected the rim.The upper control arms were bolstered by tubing welded inside the stampings to endure more hits from the side. The bumper energy absorbers were welded tight on the inside to hide them from tech inspection rejection. All the wiring that was needed to start and run it was done with heavy gauge cable and simple toggle switches. The name of the game is to stay inside the rules, but sometimes if you are sharp enough, you can see how far they will bend.

It was still no match for the 4500 lb. roundback Chevy wagon that took her out :D
