He's a bearded dragon which are native to Australia, so he sure loves getting real sun. He was my little sister's, but she lost interest in him so I take care of him and refuse to call him Banana which is what she named him. Maybe if he was of the yellow variant it would make sense....
@8398 im doin good and how are you doin ? i personaly have always been a snake kinda guy and now im starting to get into the tarantula world too :)

I'm doing good too. Oooo I don't know if I've mentioned I've wanted a tarantula for awhile now. If I were to choose one I'd get b. smithi/Mexican red knee. But at the moment my step dad doesn't trust me enough. Which I don't blame him given the salamander incident. :p

@8398 im glad your doing good. those are nice beginner tarantulas and i like the rose hair tarantula. ask your real dad and what happened to the salamander incident ?

Yes I'm glad they are beginner friendly 'cuz they sure are pretty. Oh yeah those rose hairs, they are the most inexpensive so that's good. My real dad hasn't been a part of my life since... maybe 7 years old. It's funny because of all people it's my step dad that's scared of them.
The salamander incident... It was actually a newt. A rough-skinned newt, which are toxic if they are eaten. My mom brought one home, even though I'd rather let it be in the wild, she thought I'd want it. So I kept it in a large temporary tub with a plastic lid and put moss and such inside. The tub had no holes so I left the lid a crack open (bad idea.) It escaped and so for the next few days I left bowls of water all over my floor and looked around the house at night. He was found in my sister's underwear drawer, dried up and I was accused of doing it as a prank. He must of found his way into the laundry. Kinda funny and sad.

@8398 they are pretty but your more pretty. and rose hairs are neat tarantulas. My mom hasn't been a part of my life since 12 years old but i still she her sometimes she lives in lake tahoe and we text and send each other pictures. Why is he scared of them ? Maybe he tought he would find a lady newt in the underwear drawer.

Have you considered I might be ugly? Haha. Well he's scared of them because tarantulas are very misunderstood, it's easy to assume they are dangerous.
lol! he's not the one that looked through the drawer, he just heard of the story and was not shocked it happened because I was often irresponsible with my critters.

@8398 you could never be ugly :) tarantulas are neat and fun pets i have never owned a pet tarantula but i would like to. i hope your pet lizard is doing good and i hope you are doing good.
