Snow day!

nice looking bike and nice shark fin - shark tail exhaust pipes, what kind of bike is it and how do you like the ape hangers i like motorcycles and i would like to know more about your bike and what size ape hangers are those.

This bike is a Harley 1995 custom softail. Good noticing the fishtail pipes! They really bark out some noise. The ape hangers required new wiring because they were the maximum allowed. The law had certain requirements measured from the seat to the hangers. These were a few inches past legal so when I went by the police I had to pull bars down some. Never had problems. Some people find them uncomfortable but I loved them! @Gary DuBois

@Mike Stouffer my dad had a 1979 harley lowrider fxs-80 for 22 years and he liked his bike but for being a bigger guy it seemed small at times hes 6'6 and 257lbs+ and it would have been nice to have a 5th gear. what is the cubic inch displacement on yours and why do you like ape hangers do you think they look cool or do you like the feeling of them ? i was 4 years old when your bike was made.

@Mike Stouffer Is yours is a 1350cc ? so would that make it a 75 inch ? my dads was a 1405cc so an 80 inch. and my dad took me for lots of rides on his bike sometimes through wildwood park here in puyallup washington and other times through sumner and then orting and then back home to puyallup and i remember being on the highways alot too but my dad said escpecialy on the highways it would be nice to have a 5th gear. is yours a 4 or 5 speed ? the 79 lowrider weighed a little over 600lbs. i remember my dad riding up the concrete ramp at pierce college and then another time the damn sticker bushes got wrapped around his leg and he stood up riding down a big hill and fit under a metal gate and rode in between a metal gate and a hill and thats another good thing about bikes is you can go alot of places where a 4 wheeled vehicle can't. And i remember pulling back on the throttle when i was younger and then later on he would let me practice starting it :)
