Mongoose Dolomite

My Dolomite is an uber cool machine, but the handlebars weren't acceptable for comfortable riding.
Thru the use of used parts,a lathe and a welder,I was able to modify a pair of BMX bars with the correct sweep back that were too short for the hand controls. Simple enough, extend them ;)
@Jennacide My Dolomite isn't a BMX bicycle. The Dolomites are full sized adult bikes. It's considered a fat tire bike. The tires and wheels are four inches wide (101.6 mm) and are as big as the ones on motorcycles.
Here is a link to a pic of my Orange County Choppers bicycle with a stock Dolomite in a local car and bike show:

My chopper and the Mongoose

I like the look of fat tire bicycles they look fun and cool. I like that yours is a mongoose and i like the red rims and the disc brakes are nice and better than the old pad brakes. The only thing i would have done different is not put bmx handlebars onto a fat tire bicycle but overall nice fat tire bicycle :)

@Nitro im sorry to hear your straight bars hurt you when you rode it but i would have still left the straight bars probably stock on your mongoose fat tire bicycle because im a stock kinda guy with my bicycles i like leaving stock bigger and important parts on.

@Nitro i like being comfortable too on my bicycles but i also like leaving my bicycles stock, how do you like having the mods compared to when it was completley stock and i like the red rims they are cool :)

I told you that it hurt to ride because of the straight bars. It no longer hurts my shoulders since I placed the originals in the scrap pile. Straight bars mess with my shoulders because they aren't aimed properly.
