Lots of my private photos were lost during our upgrade.
At the present, I have tens of thousands of images stored all over the place which could be very time consuming to find them again.
Most of personal images that make it to my albums are scans of actual photographs that I stumbled across when looking for something else.
In the mid 1980s, I lost a huge portion of my early photographs and negatives in a 100 year flood.
Up until about a decade ago, I had actively carried a 35mm SLR camera with me since I was about 13.
Had just recently moved in from another location and decided that they should be at home to share instead of at my shop.
The landscaping and parking lot gravel got washed away, there was a high watermark on the freshly painted walls and mud everywhere.
A very sad day where I left the box on my shop floor in order to avoid getting them wet by taking them to my truck.

Over 11 years gone in an instant.
