    Professori
Professoree - as though an Italian word.

Let me clarify - my daughter is a joker and so uses an Italian accent and calls me Professori, but with the i pronounced like the English ee. So, my name is actually Rob, but she calls me Professori Roberto - just like an Italian would.
Without a space between professor and i, it looks like some Italian word ending in i pronounced like English ee.

That's precisely how my daughter pronounces it.
Welcome to AC. Wouldn't "Professor i" be an imaginary professor...? ;-P

Ah, good question. It came to mind when I had to provide a username for myself - my daughter calls me Professori. I am a professor in title and status, but still, I am not a titles person and don't appreciate the associations people make with titles. Also, I do not fit the conventional mold of a professor, and it does not fit the picture I have in my mind of myself, and so in this sense I am an imaginary professor.

If you add in a REAL number, you could be a COMPLEX professor...! ;-)
