  • Please Google, remove the next video button that sits on top of the video player on YouTube. When I want to double tap the screen to fast forward, that button gets in the way and it skips to the next video!

With YouTube's rigid system of settings, I don't think that you can disable it while using the regular app. There are alternatives - ones violating terms and possibly being illegal - that have a lot more options.

Google rarely listens to feedback. I hate YouTube shorts and want a way to disable them in search and everywhere.
I'm ridiculously irritable at the moment and when someone says there's no point in being angry it's quite invalidating. I know. If I had a choice between being content or angry of course i'd choose content. It's my environment that is stressing me out and I'm not able to fix it. I'm sure depression is demoralisation as a result of long term, unfavorable, unfixable, external circumstances.

I wish my parents would try to understand me instead of judge but I think they ignore me because I'm such a disappointment. It must be hard to acknowledge this for them.

A story you might like, Granny Carter was a Geordie. Post #15 if your browser sends you to the beginning of the thread.

Does anyone relate to your problems being so painful that you just ignore them completely? It's a bit of a block to getting well when you won't even approach it with a 10ft pole.
The great thing about being uncool and low status is that you can say what you want and they can't take anything away from you.

But they still treat you like your invisible and like garbage then get away with it.

We are the ghosts of society 👻. We may be flesh and bone but they look right through us. It's their narrow vision and closed minds which refuse to see our shared humanity, despite our differences. So we live under the radar, life's observers.

Ours changed over 3 weeks ago, to summer time. I don't bother resetting any of my clocks though, I know how to read them.

Here it after Halloween now for years now the same day as the NYC Marathon.
I made a friend at the gym induction and have organised to play badminton with them on Thursday!
Advice welcome. I'm sliding back in to a victim mindset once again. Staying in resentment and blame, using all my spoons on criticising others who should/ shouldn't have done this or that, and not looking in mirror. Even if I'm right, so what, what difference does it make. I'm waiting for someone to do something instead of taking the initiative myself.. It's my biggest barrier to change.

I should go back to the chiropractor. It's been a decade since the last one which didn't work out. I know there is potential there.

I'm a spend thrift, it's hard to get used to having expendable income. I've been so used to being in debt. It's a mindset I'm in. But I do have the money now to try a chiropractor. Pain stops me from doing things I used to enjoy, I need to do something.

Does anyone cycle through all the bullies they've had in the past when they wake up in the middle of the night? Before you've put on your mental armour for the day ahead. I do and it shows I haven't let go yet.

I dreamt I was back at school and a famous politician was there. I asked him why we went to war with Iraq and he labelled me a trouble maker. It was the guy who made up the WMD claims.
I find it difficult to listen to songs introduced to me by people I fell out with. But music made by horrid people that I don't know, I don't have a problem with!

I like what I like. I am not one to start listening to a music style just because someone recommended it or because it seems to be popular. In fact, at work when people would be talking about music, I often had no idea who the singers being discussed even were.

People often can't believe I haven't heard x popular artist and I'm the same, I like what I like. I'm sure I could flex some bands and say "ermagerd have you never heard of this!!" @FayetheAspie

My weighted blanket burst.. the label said I could machine wash it 😔

It was an over tired, impulsive, thoughtless decision. Also some hypochondria involved. Mum's birthday present she'll be mad! Ruined so many things with anxiety. Google says a top loading washing machine can tear blankets, mine is front. Already chucked it,.was making a mess. Looks like glass beads. Hope the washing machine survives.

Getting 'shouldnt have done that' text from mum. Well I did ask and she said check label! No good saying it and being an expert now !!

Good news the washing machine still works. I'm going to email the company and tell them.what happened see what they say @Rodafina
Some loud idiot in the restaurant was declaring that Fibromyalgia is a lazy person's disease and is not real. The man told me he's long term unemployed and is an alcoholic. I wasn't even annoyed, just found it funny!

Yeah, in my experience, alcoholics like to find the fault in everyone else and never take a look in the mirror. Well, until they get sober.

He's back on the booze after a health scare. I was really hoping it would be the catalyst for change. I guess the shock wore off. I'm getting fed up with him coming round my house with a crate of beers, getting pissed, picking an argument, it's not normal to drink in front of a sober person. The party ended well over a decade ago for me.
Think I know why I get stressed by doctors. I never know how to answer their questions about what symptoms I have. I struggle to find the words and I'm also so in my head that I don't really know what going on with my body half the time.

Me too. I don't know how to describe symptoms and sometimes don t even notice something is wrong. It is annoying

Maybe writing them down at home before the visit could help? Asking about symptoms is question that's very likely to be asked at a doctor's office.

yeah i did. I got asked lots of questions that i hadnt anticipated and i could tell she was a little frustrated with me, but not rude, she was 30 mins behind schedule
