  • Funny thing, actually got into college. Thought I would have to upgrade all my courses. I do not. Really wished I would have finished my last week of chem 30 in highschool. But quitting drugs after 10 years was more important and a hard thing to overcome and stay focused.
Chem will be an easy course to take.
Kinda weird... thought it would be harder to get it than it was. Im very excited to brighten my future.
Took the horrendous past 6ish (or more ) months, well really since my birthday and have turned every dead end into a new beginning. I've learned so much. Applied to college, finally. It has been over due. Working on finishing my book and starting a new. Enjoying my family with the time off I have, even if it is because of a dislocated jaw. Very thankful for my health. ❤️ also thankful that I love mushy smoothies 🤣

There are so many other beautiful things that have come out of what has felt like a cloudy year of darkness. Here are a few My puppy Daisie, who is a ray of sunshine. My diagnosis, which has gave me understanding. A deeper friendship with my momma since my Dad passed. A new home. The ability to train my dog Buddy to be a service dog... and so many more
Watching The Royal Tenenbaums, an ultimate cinematic genius. This off-beat movie makes my very core happy. I could watch this movie on repeat for days. One of the singular times Ive had an inkling of emotion whilst watching a movie.

I am a major Wes Anderson fan. The way he pieces his movies together, so satisfying. Ooo, that sounds fantastic. I shall have to find that and indulge.

There are limited movies that have the same feel as Wes Anderson. Some only have a scene that parallels.

    Here you go!

Anderson borrowed from this film to make the fox one. I'm fond of medieval literature and the earliest years of the movies so this was one I like too.

Thank you so much. I am beyond excited to watch this!
All of the chaos going on in my life, there is one thing I have realized. I will not let anyone clip my wings. Anyone who wants to, it is their loss NOT mine. I will stay true to my uniquely weird self.

Certainly something I can agree with.

Yes. I've been where you are @scleod (with getting pushed out of a job by peers) and it is hard. Very very hard. But you WILL get over it with time. Co-workers in similar situations tell me it takes about an year and that's been true for me too.

Never experienced this before. Even though I am an outcast, unique or weird. I have always been extremely well liked, even "popular". Probably because I dont really want to interact with most people.( I have a specific taste in friends, And it is very very limited) But discovering my ASD was my detriment, that I wouldn't take back.
Had a concussion assesment and exhibiting 90 to 95 percent symptoms from a car accident in november. It is quite interesting how our bodies just plug through with out an indication that we are struggling. Was fired for well, being Autistic. I thought that having aspergers would be looked upon as an asset. Wow was I sure wrong.
Thought I was losing my mind, needed help and my ASD was out of control. A day in the hospital and found out I had a dislocated jaw and was just going crazy from the pain. Pain killers, neck brace restt muscle relaxer for my locked jaw; its good to be feeling a little more me.

I didnt notice the pain to much till I started taking medicine and realized. Okay wow I have been in allot of pain. My pain receptors are awful.
Have a frozen jaw today from TMD who would have thought 3 month after a car accident your jaw would dislocate out of place. What an utter inconvenience and nuisance.

Oh thank you. I will have to give it a read. You have been a great help. I very much appreciate it. One of the first friendly people on here when I decided to engage after my diagnosis.
Slept with a heat molded mouth guard for the first time last night. Best thing for tmj and teeth grinding ever! Finally slept

Yes, either one is, but closed is easier to deal with,
    in my experience with it.

Weirdly enough, I found it worse then the locked open. Have you had yours locked open or shut?
