Give your younger self some advice

Drink more water, and less energy drinks, especially in hot and dry climates, because when you're 25 you WILL get kidney stones, and they will be the worst pain you've ever experienced. There is no such thing as good debt. Business majors are worthless without connections, get a Computer...

Do you watch or download Porn online?

Nothing wrong with a good tug every now and then, though you probably don't want to do it too often, or in a porta-potty in 130 degree weather.

Help with learning math and science

Visualization certainly helps with me. It's also easier to learn Mathematics when you have a problem that you can compare. A simple example of this from algebra is that I see a function as a machine that turns useful raw materials into something I want. Like countzero stated, learning Math...

What are everyone's thoughts on high school???

Well, I don't miss the constant bomb threats or the gangs in my first school (Bloods, Cholos, large groups of Filipinos, and Crips). Usually in a fight you didn't fight one person. you fought >3, and one or all of them are carrying some sort of improvised weapon. You learned to make a friend and...

    Your personal role models

I'm taking a drawing class because "why not", and one guy I'd love to have a pint with is Otto Dix. I feel like his art is "honest", for the lack of a better word.

    Your personal role models

Archimedes. His ability to apply existing concepts to make new discoveries in Mathematics, then apply them in Engineering makes me squee. The way he interprets the world and universe through its sheer mathematical and mechanical beauty taught me at a very young age that to understand something...

    More problems with Virgin mobile!

30 minutes to travel 26 kilometers on a train? Can my city have your infrastructure? To travel 26 km it takes roughly 1 hour 30 minutes, if not longer.

Anyone else sick of people only coming here to get back their relationships?

I don't mind if they try to learn more about AS. If anything, it gives us an opportunity to inform neurotypical people about AS, and hopefully they will be more informed in the end. Though I think those that some of the posts you speak of is more about not wanting to be alone than trying to...

How long do your special interests last?

Decades for two of my interests. I have had an interest in electronics, science (epidemiology), and mathematics since the early 90's. I used to have an interest in military history from 1994-2004 -- funny how being in the military ended that interest.
