    Salt Lake City is relatively non-Mormon. The place you want to go with your flag is Provo. 90% LDS. If you are really brave head to some of the suburbs outside Provo. That said, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, may be closer to where you are and maybe even more appropriate.

    Oh yeah, authentic East Asian ramen makes the American stuff (like Top Ramen and Maruchan) taste like wet paper. Avoid Thai ramen though unless you love spicy turned up to 11, which I don't. There's now a Hmong market in Yreka to serve the marijuana planters, and they have stuff like this.

    Cool old thermometer I found at a flea market in Sutter Creek, Cal., while I was waiting out the snowstorm at me mom's house. The dumb seller stuck the price on it with masking tape right on top of the ad, which came off with the tape. Ugh.
