    NT and Aspie Communication

Being an NT in a relationship with an Aspie, I can tell you, from my experience, this happens but not considered to be rude or an insult. My son has a phone ( aspie too) and forgets to charge it, turn it on and just doesn't check it. Loves gaming but not interested in phones and texting. Hubby...

Hi Rachel , I do the the same thing now. It's hard to be precise with ' how you feel' so I just ask for a moment to get my words right. We also struggle to communicate, mainly because he speaks eloquently and I tend to struggle with this.

    NT dating AS? PLEASE POST!!!!

Hi again Judge, I feel all men can be self conscious and in my experience, an Aspie male comes across as shy. Most of the time I have no idea what on my hubby's mind as he keeps to himself. But, in saying that, if I ask directly and don't ' beat around the bush' he will give me a very honest...

The great thing about Aspergers is...

Hi taipan I'm a NT and been with my partner for 28 years. I too feel this way regularly, he is not a diagnosed aspie, but admits he could be. I get through these times by encouraging a lot of conversation and telling him what I need, but gently. I invite him to lunch, or suggest that we hang out...
