Autism infographic from 2005

I happened to find this interesting old infographic dated 2005. Not too bad for the time. Outdated by 2025 standards, but not a million miles away and there is an understanding that OCD and ADD are co-existing. No mention of ADHD though.

Looks like the idea of a spectrum has been around for at least 20 years. This feels like more towards ideas of a neurodivergent spectrum, rather than one purely focused on autism.

An interesting look at the differences in understanding 20 years ago.

By that chart - type 3 strong ; types 1 & 2 present to a lesser degree

The part on ADD confuses me because it sounds more like PDA. I have ADHD with the H included and that part 4 does not really seem relatable. For me, ADHD is having trouble sitting still without fidgeting and having rapid speech when I talk. It is not a reaction to being told what to do, but rather a built in need to move that is hard to repress.

The chart is too distracting for me to follow. Seriously, I'm trying and not succeeding. The changing word sizes, the background colors - it's overwhelming.
