It is much simpler! Cars are just a huge aggravation and a financial drain… I would definitely prefer a bicycle but sadly I’m no longer able-bodied enough to use one :( Hip and back problems would make bicycling very difficult…

Hip problems & back problems are rough. I have seen some new electric bicycles being sold that might help--at least, too, staying at home, you have your dogs!
Tonight is pretty quiet around here in the hobbit-hole under the old house in the little town in Connecticut.

Electric bicycles are kind of scary because of how fast they can go lol. But staying at home with my dogs is not a bad thing :)

I have not been writing tonight but am fixing breakfast so i can transcribe the writing I did last Sunday. I have about 15 pages or so of longhand that needs to be typed--somehow I add stuff in while typing it and it turns into 30 pages typescript, lol. So am making waffles & black coffee & Spam.

yes the speed is a bit scary. How's it going for you tonight?

I sometimes cook meals in advance too… I have waffles in my freezer right now actually. I’m also a coffee person.
How long does it take to type 30 pages on a typewriter?? That sounds like it could be very time-consuming.
My night is going ok, I’m just cleaning up my house while the dogs are sleeping. :)

Breakfast is for tonight; I can be a bit of a hoot-owl.
30 pages type-writing: about as fast as it would on a computer or slightly faster. (I rebuild them before I use them, and am a rapid typist, so that should work out. The slow part is the creative part. i'd say the speed is--just about right.)
Cleaning a house is a hand full so good luck; I used to do that all the time when we had an indoor dog. They are cute.

Ohh ok lol, I get it, I don’t usually go to bed early either… I just had coffee at about 9pm too. Coffee doesn’t keep me awake. I think that’s a common ADHD trait.
That’s cool that it can go faster than a computer :) Do you use a computer much? Mostly the typewriter? I use my phone more than my computer, but mostly for communication, and no social media for me lol.

I use a computer for a lot of stuff but I do not rely on it for writing (for college, for fun, etc.) because the computer I just don't like much. If I need to write anything longer than a couple pages I use a typewriter, usually either an Underwood or a Woodstock upright.

Small houses are a good thing. The perfect size.

Coffee is a life saver lol.
I rely on a desktop computer for photo/video editing, music stuff, etc. But I don’t play video games (at all) and I don’t get much use out of my laptop unless I’m traveling.
I will have to try out a typewriter someday lol. But I have fat fingers :’)
I love my small house, but it’s a condo and I’d prefer a small old house.

Desktop computers are a godsend. One of these days I am going to build me a proper PC and get rid of this awful laptop that doesn't even have the power to print a PDF.

Ugh, I know… my laptop is a piece of crap too.
And so is my printer! >:(
I love photography, art, and music :) I draw, paint, and do digital art… and I’m a musician (percussionist.)

Art & music, yes, a little. I'm teaching myself keyboard--bought a cheap old organ that just turned 130 this year and am having a lot of fun playing whenever I can salvage sheet-music. I also enjoy taking pictures but not enough to justify buying film & having them developed so I use a digital camcorder due to the rechargeable battery. Sony Handycam's have a decent still-picture setting.
