Yeah, you could be a jerk more often and you'd still be super nice. But I relate to the feeling because sometimes my opinions come off as pushy, or at least that's what the internal monologue is saying to me

Some days we just need to vent a little Luca. You are neither a jerk nor unkind. Dog V4 sends you dusty footprints because it's very dry here right now!

You never offended me.

@maycontainthunder I hope you and Dog V4 and your family are staying safe and cool!! You too Shaddock and Slim Jim!
The weather is not going to be any nicer where I am today, unfortunately :/

I am sat in front of a fan that is blowing at full power. Everyone else is staying cool; Dog V4 is flaked out on the floor in the coolest room. 37C out there right now.

Omg. I'm glad you're safe. It's going to get that hot here later in the week. We have a relatively cool climate normally but the last few summers have been awful.
Is this the hottest it's ever been in the UK?

Heathrow Airport hit 40.2C apparently. I'm staying inside, it feels like I'm melting after a matter of seconds out there.

Holy crap!!!
Make sure you have plenty of water, and ice to put in the water. When it gets super hot here, I freeze a ton of ice and put it in my dogs' bowls so they can drink it all day and stay cool. I have a Nest thermostat, but last summer when it was 95 degrees, my original one broke. It was hell! Fortunately it was replaced within a day but it was so unpleasant.

Experimental cooling hack V1: fill a hot water bottle with cold water instead. Currently placed behind my back and had already made me shiver slightly. Might work!

or dive in a very big aquarium filled with cold water and wear an oxygen mask or snorkel while typing on your water resistant laptop.
