You'd never see another spider or scorpion around the house.

Fortunately, we don't have scorpions where I live... but we do have spiders. I don't like spiders but I also don't like to kill them. Once I stop panicking, I can put them outside lol. Unless they're venomous... then they have to go. Same with hornets. The true test of home ownership is having to get a hornet out of you bedroom lol...

You just need the right sort of spiders. These ones don't make webs, they just chase things down and eat them.

Omg, that startled me... is that a huntsman spider? We had something similar when I lived in Hawaii called a cane spider... one of them appeared in my car and scared me badly enough that I pulled over and jumped out of the car, hyperventilating. Lol
I had never seen a spider that big before... I am somewhat arachnophobic. If you want to see something really creepy, look up "Hawaiian centipede"

Sorry, I didn't stop to think of a phobia. For what it's worth, they're not poisonous, completely harmless. I've seen them run across the ceiling and launch themselves to take down wasps and hornets. Unpleasant when one runs across your face in the middle of the night though.
