Charles keeps gambling our money away we never have new things to add variety all our entertainment appliances are in the pawn shop and when we do get them back they only stay for a day before they go back for another slow slow SLOW month or 5 it's so monotonous everybody acts like prison guards to me

I'm so sorry this is happening to you! Are they your things they keep taking to pawn? I'm not sure of the full history of your situation. It's so unfair, having things to enjoy is very important and I understand how distressing it is when things are routinely taken away. I'm drawing a blank trying to think of a way to prevent them from doing it and I don't want to suggest anything that could make things worse.

I just wanted to say that I think in some ways I can relate to your situation UberScout. My mother used to drink and that's where a lot of the money used to go, then she would "borrow" money from me and waste that too. Then I had to deal with people chasing her for money. The only way I could make it stop was by leaving :-(
