I’m not exactly her favorite person, so if I did call for a wellness check and nothing was wrong, it would need to be anonymous.

For more clarification, the lights are always on and the blinds are always open. It doesn’t look like there’s anything going on in there. I’m concerned that she may not be alive. She isn’t a big fan of me or my dogs, but I still have empathy and I hope she’s not dead.

It's a tough call, they may just be going through an autistic burnout or similar in which case an official intrusion really wouldn't be welcome. My first instinct was to suggest that you go knock on her door and ask, but then you mentioned you don't get along.

I’d still rather get a knock on the door from a neighbor than a wellness check from the cops.

Both would be very unwelcome though.

Luca, you have much more detail to go off of, but I would say hold off.

I was going to ask the condo management to do a check on her before resorting to calling the cops. I don’t mess with cops, I’ve had bad enough experiences myself.
I considered leaving a note under the door but I don’t think she would appreciate that either.

Something just really feels like it’s not right, and I trust my instincts.

The condo management would be a good first step.

You could go look thru window first, and then decide if you should call somebody. Even if you tell condo assoc., they still may have policy to call police just to steer clear of negligence. Do some checking first. It's weird her animals are gone, is she on vacation?

I don't want to look like a weirdo looking through the windows lol. I have casually glanced up at the windows while I was in the yard.
She's not on vacation, she's still there, but her ex came last week and took her dogs back. There was a custody disagreement.

Sad. Oh dear. I guess toss a coin, and decide. It's a tough call. Have pizza delivered? Lol
