Oh wow. A little miniature pirate radio station, how cool. I would love to make something like that! Also can't stand most radio music and prefer the other stuff. You and your electric projects are pretty neat.

Well Nina Simone is on the airwaves right now 
I switched to what seemed to be a weaker transmitter so we will see how that goes. Unfortunately it was an old style iPod transmitter so I had to do some reverse engineering to make it universal. Seem to get a good enough signal throughout the house So it will just sit shuffling through songs with nice FM static. Pretty convincing as an ethereal transmission

Right now Led Zeppelin "I can't quit you". I've found I have some anomalies in my MP3 collection. Apparently I have a rap song about Real Estate (??!) not sure where that one came from lol! It's the first time I've heard it!

I really have no idea where the Real Estate song has come from. I'm wondering if maybe it was on one of those CDs I used to get with music magazines. I used to just use my Mac mini as a CD player and it would automatically copy the CD to my iTunes library so that might explain it

Frou Frou is playing now, but who knows what's next? A death metal song about pink fluffy unicorns?It's kinda nice to not really know what's coming next and since I can't see the name of the song that's playing it perfectly emulates those enigmatic radio song moments. I can highly recommend making your own radio station!

Well, it's mostly plug and play. I just complicated things modifying the iPod transmitter because I'm paranoid that the signal coming from the one I bought was somehow too powerful and I might get into trouble if it is. But I'm probably just being silly. Really it's just an MP3 player on shuffle connected to a transmitter and you just tune in wherever you have a radio
