Yes and no. It's more a caffeine withdraw. Though sugar plays a role. Especially since most sugar used, is artificial and in large amounts.

But I am glad you are on this journey. You'll find you don't need it as much as you think you do.

Point taken. Reducing sugar is one thing. Reducing caffeine at the same time, and one will eclipse the other. With caffeine withdrawal being far more noticeable. It's why I continue to mitigate my caffeine intake, never drinking two cups of coffee two days in a row. Yesterday was coffee, today tea and tomorrow something without caffeine at all. Caffeine withdrawal can be nasty for me.
