Rock what you got!

I find being under 6 feet great when I compare it to all my 6'+ relatives having to fit into cars and planes with much less comfort.

Though it did once seem a bit awkward at times with a very cute but petite 4'9" girlfriend. I use to be 5"11 and three-quarters. Having been informed by my doctor that people do in fact shrink with old age. Go figure.

Life is tough; then you die.

@Zain, why does it suck?
Zain
Zain
@Rodafina Because average = no benefit to finding a mate (as a guy).
Zain

@Judge Who cares about trivialities like that.
At least you have a much easier time dating. You see all the time women desiring tall men because it makes them feel protected.

Thinking of women collectively does more harm than your perceived lack of height does.

How many women are you hoping to get...?

So, how many must you appeal to?
Is it really necessary to appeal to women collectively...?
Zain

I want to appeal to as many as possible to increase my chances of finding a partner that has what I'm looking for. Primarily a virgin like me.

The "collective" mind set is self-defeating.
Just
  • put yourself out there (in meatspace),
  • put your best foot forward &
  • don't pretend to be somebody that you are not.

It is trivial. That was my point. Ridiculous to worry about height alone if that's your problem meeting women.

None of the girlfriends I had ever mentioned height. I don't think any of the NT heterosexual women who were only friends ever told me that height mattered to them. Dating? A toxic social ritual. No, I simply had a small number of friendships that blossomed into something more.

@Judge Did you really purposely misinterpret me like that.
Yeah, because you're above average height. Lol.
@Crossbreed Remove psychology from this conversation. I'm talking about biology and reality, not something made up.

ROTFLMAO. I'm the runt of the family. My father was 6'1". My brother is 6'2". My cousins are 6'4" and 6'5". In my world I never bothered contemplating having an above-average height. Purely a matter of biology in my extended family. Though one relative I'm certain is on the spectrum and doesn't know it is 6'5". Though none of this ever bothered me either.
Zain
Zain
@Judge Still above average compared to the average person.

Sadly you continue to miss the point. It doesn't matter. There are many other things for you to contemplate about how you truly appear to women. Don't waste your time lamenting over your height. They won't, so why should you?
Zain
Zain
@Judge I'm not missing anything. I'm assuming you are an older man as you don't seem to understand how important height is to women nowadays. I wouldn't have responded, but it is a disservice to men to act this way.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. It isn't the sexes who drive metrics of physical/sexual aesthetics. It's ultimately the cosmetics, fashion, entertainment and media industries. Same now as was in my youth. All for profit and shareholders equity. Who don't give a damn about the average man or woman.

@Judge And we choose what we watch and pay attention to. Of course you're going to be influenced by those things. Everyone has the freedom to submit to those standards set by who you've described or ignore them.
