I was semi-active on this site a long while ago for about six months (late 2016-early 2017), which was from the time I was diagnosed with Asperger's until I started my first job back in the working world post-diagnosis. Then I dropped out. What happened after that? That's what the book is about.
Best Places To Work! An Autistic Adventure in Corporate America is a fictionalized memoir of my experiences at my first job post-diagnosis. There's plenty more information on the Amazon page (link below), including a story summary, my Author's Note, and the Foreword of the book, which is written by my therapist, who specializes in counseling adult autistics and has an adult daughter on the spectrum.
The story is definitely a comedy, not a tragedy. Though fictional, everything in the story really happened to me (except the part about my career coach being a witch). My goal was to write an entertaining story while raising awareness of neurodiversity in the workplace. I've received some great reviews! Several of the reviews are by readers on the spectrum, which is particularly gratifying.
