The last thing that made you laugh

The commercial I'm talking about didn't set out to be funny, and it wasn't anything like an Old Spice ad.

    Final fantasy 15 ?

I thought this "Clueless Gamer" segment with Conan O' Brien playing Final Fantasy XV with Elijah Wood and getting completely enraged by it was hilarious: The last FF game I played was VI (III on the Super NES).

The last thing that made you laugh

One of the recent things that made me laugh was this stupid commercial I saw during The Simpsons on FXX for this snake oil testosterone supplement from GNC that's all about how you're not a "real man" like the men in the "good old days" if you don't take it. The selling point wasn't needing more...

YouTuber faces lawsuit threat over video claiming Barron Trump could be Autistic...

Disappointed but not surprised that suggesting someone is on the autism spectrum is treated as an attack (I'm trying to give O' Donnell some benefit of the doubt and taking her at her word that it wasn't intended as an attack, but I think that this probably wasn't the right way to raise this issue).

Rosie O’Donnell gets internet backlash for suggesting that Barron Trump is autistic

I have no opinion on whether or not Barron Trump is on the spectrum or not, but I tend to see any kind of diagnosis from afar like this pretty spurious. In any case I would say his privacy should be respected just as any other president's children who are minors (Trump's adult children who are...

Bob Dylan, now a Nobel Laureate

This articulates a bit of what I feel as someone who's not personally a great fan of Bob Dylan (and would be more excited by Cormac McCarthy winning the Nobel for literature) but still recognizes his significance...

    Is 'ugly' attractive?

I like this word that the French have for "Ugly-Pretty", and I think it could frequently apply to the women I find most attractive: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jolie_laide “There is no exquisite beauty… without some strangeness in the proportion.” -Edgar Allan Poe

Why 'The Curious Incident' is an awful depiction of Autism...

I didn't really like this book much either and agree that it's probably problematic in some ways, but I also think a few of this writer's criticisms are a little silly, like the part about how Christopher fantasizing that everyone but him is dead is such a horrible thing. Who has never had any...
